E-commerce has been second only to my experience in interactive marketing. Very shortly after becoming web master at Discmakers, I was recruited by CDnow to build the creative team to allow for their desired explosive growth. We were writing the rules for e-commerce. Some rules I have broken, and some I have followed, in my subsequent e-commerce experiences with Brylane, Swarovski and Today’s Man, to name just a few of e-commerce projects that I have led.
